You might wonder what a paceline is. It's a cycling term that refers to a line of cyclists all pedaling in the same direction. The cyclist at the front of the line does most of the work, while the other cyclists draft behind the cyclist at the front of the line. When the cyclist in the front gets tired, he or she moves to the back of the line, allowing the next cyclist to move to the front. That process repeats itself, with each cyclist taking a turn at the front of the line. By working together, the entire group rides much faster than any of the cyclists could ride on their own. That's the approach we take at Paceline. By working together with clients, employees, and vendors, all parties reach their goals faster and easier than any of us could on our own.

You might wonder how the company came to be named Paceline. It's actually a relatively new name that came into being when two established companies merged. After Rx Textiles acquired SPT Technology in 2010, the goal was to create one unified company capable of providing customers with a wider range of products and more efficient levels of service.

Since the combined company was much more than a medical textile company, it didn't make sense to merge SPT's non textile product line into Rx Textiles, so we decided to re-brand both companies under a new name.

We wanted a name that described how we work with our clients, employees, vendors and other stakeholders. After going through many different options, we finally settled on the name Paceline.
